Bethlehem - Ma’an - The Norwegian aid agency (NPA) reported Saturday that an Israeli drone fired a missile at the car of its aid workers, causing severe damage to surrounding buildings and totaling the vehicle.

According to the report the car was “clearly marked with the NPA logo” and officials said it would have been “impossible for the personnel in control of the drone to miss that this was a humanitarian vehicle.”

The car was parked near the Ash-Shati Refugee Camp north of Gaza city when the attack occurred, and according to NPA spokesperson Petter Eide there are” no military targets in the area.”

Raymond Johansen in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the incident a “clear violation of international law,” and said the ministry was already in contact with the Israeli authorities over the incident.
